Dominating defender...
A powerful central defender also blessed with excellent skills on the ball, Taylor joined the Club at the age of six and progressed through the Academy to the first team.
Having been part of the Under-18 squad that reached the FA Youth Cup final in 2019, the youngster was handed his debut the following September, playing the full 90 minutes in a 3-0 Carabao Cup third round victory over Preston North End.
Two months later he made his Champions League debut as a substitute in a 4-1 victory over Dinamo Zagreb and in December 2020 he signed a four-year contract which keeps him at the Club until the summer of 2024.
In a memorable debut campaign, he scored his first senior goal as Pep Guardiola‘s side beat Port Vale 4-1 in the third round of the 2019/20 FA Cup.
After helping City lift the 2020 FA Youth Cup, Taylor joined Blackburn Rovers on loan for the second half of the 2020/21 season, making 19 appearances in the Championship.
Taylor started the 2021/22 season with 16 appearances at Anderlecht, before playing 22 times for Stoke City in the Championship.
He has also been a pivotal part of England U21s’ qualifying campaign for the 2023 European Championships. He will spend the 2022/23 season on loan at Burnley.
