Deep-lying playmaker
The younger brother of former City midfielder Jose, the 17-year old Iker is extremely comfortable on the ball and is usually played in a deep-lying central midfield role.
Iker has been part of the Academy for more than eight years, progressing through the age-groups to be part of the EDS squad in 2019/20.
He spent the 2020/21 season on loan at FC Eindhoven, making 28 league appearances and scoring three times in the Dutch second tier.
In 2021/22, he played three times for the EDS before a loan move to HNK Rijeka was cut short through injury.
