Bio
Carlos Vicens is the last addition to Pep’s coaching staff. With a background as a player at RCD Mallorca Academy as well as in lower leagues in Spain and in the United States, Vicens started coaching at first team level in his country in 2011 at the age of 27, before joining City’s Academy in 2017.
Throughout his years within the Academy he helped the development of promising players such Cole Palmer, James McAtee, Liam Delap, Sam Edozie, Tommy Doyle or Romeo Lavia among others.
After a successful season 20-21 as a Head Coach of the U18s, winning the FA Youth Cup and being crowned U18 Premier League National Champions, he was promoted to the first team as Assistant Coach in the summer of 2021.
