Alex signed for City as an Under-15 and has since progressed to the EDS squad, following signing his first professional contract in July 2020.
An all-action central midfield player, Alex has featured regularly for England at Youth level.
Alex spent the first half of the 2021/22 season on loan in the Scottish Premiership with Ross County before returning to the EDS setup.
